Snackaway Snack Cakes

If your a sucker for Hostess or Little Debbie snack cakes and you want to make wiser desicions, then look in that section and look for Mrs. Freshley's Snackaways!

They have 150 calories or less per serving.
Less fat and sugar and more fiber than similair snacks on the market.
0g trans fats.
They are also really yummy. :)
Flavors:
Chocolate Cream-Filled Cupcakes (140 calories) - Like the healthy Hostess Cupcake.
Wild Blueberry Muffins (150 calories)
Oatmeal Yogurt Cream Pies (100 calories) - Like the healthy Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie, I tried this one and it's good! *****
Peanut Butter Wafer Bars (90 calories) - Like the healthy Nutty Bar.
Yogurt Cream Cakes (140 calories) - Like the healthy Twinkie.

South Beach Pizza

I tried the Four Cheese one - and it was sooooo good. You wouldn't expect it to have so much fiber and protein! It has a bunch of calcium too!

They come in Pepperoni and Grilled Chicken & Vegetable kinds too.

But I don't like vegetables on my pizza and I don't like pepperoni so I didn't want to try them.

They have like 340 calories or so and are really filling.

I would love to buy them again!

Healthy Choice Paninis

So I kept seeing the adds of these on Open Diary, so I decided to put them on my grocery list since they looked yummy.

I was dissapointed! I didn't like the vegetables in it and it didn't toast in the microwave like it should have! It wasn't good.

You could also put them in the oven, I suspect it would be better. But you should pick of the vegetables too because they aren't very good.

Flavors:
Chicken Artichoke
Smoked Chicken
Chicken Basil (the one I tried)
Smokehouse Apple and Chicken
Philly Cheese Steak
Tomato Basil and Mozzerella

Weight Watchers Yogurt

Well this yogurt is okay, a little too sweet. But they have a BUNCH of flavors.
I love Amaretto Cheesecake sooooooo much!

Each one is fat-free, no-sugar-added, and has about 3g fiber, with a points value of 1.

Flavors:
Boston Cream Pie - kind of... different. **
Cherry Cheesecake - alright. ***
Amaretto Cheesecake - delicious. *****
White Chocolate Raspberry
Berries n' Cream - too sweet. *

Klondike Slim-a-Bear Ice Cream Novelties

I've only had the Slim-a-Bear sandwiches, since I like the "Healthy" Blue Bunny ice cream bars since the nutritionals are more respectable.

But the Slim-a-Bear sandwiches (whether you get no sugar added or 100 calorie kind) are really good and satisfying for just 100 calories. They have 2g fiber and 3-10g sugar. They are really low-fat too.

There's a little calcium in them.

Other 100 calorie products...
English Toffee / French Vanilla Bars
Vanilla Bars
Vanilla and Chocolate Sandwiches - ***** (I like the chocolate on chocolate. :)
Vanilla Sandwiches - ****
Fudge Bars

Other no sugar added products... (they have more or the same calories as the 100 calorie kind)
Vanilla Bars
Krunch Bars
Vanilla Sandwiches

Kudos Granola Bars

Heaven is what these bars are! I am absolutely in love with the Snickers flavor. It tastes like a really Snickers bar! Well, to me anyways. I haven't had a Snickers in ages. It has real Snickers bar pieces in it though!

The bars smell so good too. I like to sniff them. Haha.

And the most impressive thing is about the label, is that they have 20% of my daily needs of calcium! WOW!

They are made with whole grains, but don't have fiber. That is dissapointing!

Flavors are...

Snickers (100 cal) ***** Super delicious. Heavennnn...
M&M (100 cal) ** I am not a big fan of M&Ms. But this came in the Variety Pack, so I gave it a shot.
Chocolate Chip (120 cal) *** Weird because this has dark chocolate chips and is dipped in milk chocolate with milk chocolate on top. But it was pretty good. Not as good as the Snickers one!
Peanut Butter (130 cal) I haven't tried this flavor yet. I like Chocolate and Peanut Butter combination though!

Flat Earth Veggie Crisps

These crisps are a blend of rice, potato, and vegetables. They are really really good. They have alot of vitamins and minerals.

Nutritionals: (off the Tangy Tomato Ranch bag - other crisps may vary)
Serving Size = 1 ounce (about 12 crisps)
Calories = 130 (50 from fat)
Total Fat = 5g
Saturated Fat = 1g
Polyunsaturated Fat = 2.5g
Monosaturated Fat = 1.5g
Trans Fat = 0g
Total Carbs = 19g
Dietary Fiber = 2g
Sugars = 3g
Protein = 2g

12 vitamins and minerals. (20% Vitamin A and 10% Vitamin C. Others are under 10%.)

In every ounce is 1/2 a serving of vegetables. Which is really impressive for CHIPS! 12 chips may seem like a little bit, but it's not really once you put it on a plate or in a bowl.

I have only tried the "Farmland Cheddar" and "Tangy Tomato Ranch" flavors. But I would like to try Apple Cinnamon Grove.

Farmland Cheddar: ***** Very tasty, reminds me of the Cheddar Pringles.

Tangy Tomato Ranch: **** It was good. I like the Ranch Flavor a great deal. The only problem is, I am not sure about the Tomato flavor. It is yummy, but if it was just Ranch, it would be delicious!!!

Other flavors include: Garlic and Herb Field, Wild Berry Patch, and Peach Mango Paradise.

I love fruit, but I'm not sure about having fruit flavored vegetable chips! But I am willing to try Apple Cinnamon, since I do love Cinnamon.

I wish they would come out with Cheddar and Sour Cream flavor! Sour Cream and Onion would be really good too.

Mrs. Mays Natural Nut Snacks

Well I've been eyeballing these Nut Cluster snacks. I saw them on sale at Walgreen's, so I decided to give them a shot!
The Sunflower Seed Clusters are pretty good. They are kind of sweet.
I would like to try the Almond Clusters.
They are a good source of good fats. About 160 calories per serving, low carb, and some protein.

Soyjoy Bars

So they were giving away free samples of Soyjoy bars at Wal-Mart the other day. I picked up the Berry, Apple, and Raisin Almond flavors.
The nutritionals aren't that great, and neither is the flavor.
1 bar has 130-140 calories
6g fat
2g saturated fat
16g carbs
3g fiber
11g sugar
4g protein
All of them kind of taste the same, but I'd have to say Berry was the best.
It's a 100% natural fruit and soy bar. It's pretty dry because of the soy. It's pretty bland too.
The ingredients are really weird. The Raisin Almond one has Dried Cranberry, Dried Papaya, and Dried Pineapple in it too. And it has Parmesan Cheese in it!! WEIRD!
The lady who gave them to me said they kind of tasted like Fruit Cake. I have never had Fruit Cake so I don't know if they taste alike.
I probably won't buy these again... There are other bars that have even better nutritionals and a way better flavor.

Kashi Vive Cereal

So there is 170 calories in 1 and 1/4 a cup. It is a special probiotic cereal for digestive health, but I wanted it so bad. It also has 20% DV calcium and vitamin D! 12g fiber, 4g protein.
I was really excited to try this cereal whenever I found out the flavor! "Toasted Graham and Vanilla"

I like the little balls that taste like vanilla. They also have similair oddly shaped twigs like in the Go Lean! cereal, except these aren't as crunchy and these taste like graham cracker. And they have these bran flakes.

The only bad things about this cereal are I don't really like bran flakes and the bran flakes sink to the bottom. But I'm guessing that's where all the fiber is.

I probably won't get this cereal again, though. Darn bran flakes!!!

South Beach Meal Bars

Okay, so these bars are really really yummy!
You use them as a meal replacement, like if you don't have time for lunch, breakfast, or dinner.
I think they have a better flavor and texture than the Cereal Bars by South Beach.
I've only tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter, because it's the only one that I can get individually. Darn!

Flavors include:
Chocolate Peanut Butter - 10/10
Chocolate Crisp - Haven't tried, but would like to!
Caramel Peanut - Haven't tried, but would like to!
Cinnamon Creme - I really think this would be DELICIOUS!!!
Vanilla Creme - Sounds really really good!!
You can also get the Chocolate Meal bars which are layered and dipped in chocolate.
Flavors:
Chocolate Peanut Butter
Chocolate Caramel
Chocolate Fudge

South Beach Cereal Bars

I love these bars they are really yummy and only have 140 calories and 10g protein!
They contain 5g fat (3g which are saturated, .5g are polyunsaturated, and 1.5g are monosaturated).
They have 15g carbs and 3g fiber. They have 7g sugar.
They also contain 10 vitamins and minerals! (15% DV Calcium)
The flavors are...
Peanut Butter - 9/10 (really yummy. I expected it to be this way! But it was a little gritty.)
Chocolate - 6/10 (kind of gritty and weird.)
Cinnamon Raisin - 10/10 (SOOOOO DELICIOUS. The icing is really good and the cinnamon and raisins are delish...)
Maple Nut - I want to try!
Cranberry Almond - haven't tried, and not planning on it. I hate cranberries.

Minute Maid Light Orange Juice (with Calcium!)

Well, I like the nutrition label. Only 50 calories and 13g carbs (11g with are sugar).
It has more calcium than a class of milk! 35% Daily Value.
It's really watery... Definately not a good as regular orange juice. I like the concentrate in the frozen section best.
I won't pick this out again.

EAS Mycoplex Lite Bars

Ehh, I didn't expect to love these bars, and just as I expected, I didn't. I picked it up because the calories weren't awful.

I got the Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Crisp flavor. It kind of tasted funky and looked kind of like a turd.

Other flavors include Cinnamon Roll Crisp, Peanut Caramel Crisp, and Peanut Butter Crisp.

The calories vary per bar, but mine had 190 calories, 4.5g fat (3g saturated), 26g carbs, 4g fiber, 11g sugar, and 15g protein.

But it was a really really big and dense bar.

It also contains 25% of my daily value of calcium.

Cocoavia

These bars are so great. I love dark chocolate, especially these!

these have 7 vitamins and minerals! Including 25% of your daily value of calcium! Each bar is only 100 calories and has 2g fiber.

They last a really long time too. I melt them in my mouth! Each bar has 4 parts where you can break it, so you can control your portion sizes easier and save the rest for later.

If you are a chocoholic like me you will love these things!

South Beach Wraps

I liked these alot, each pack contains everything you need for a light and satisfying lunch.
Find them in the refridgerated section.
They are full of fiber - 14g! And they are not gritty at all. There is 24g protein also! And only 12g fats (alot of them are good fats).
The wraps come in:
Grilled Chicken Caesar - * * * * *
Turkey and Bacon Club - * * * * *
Deli Ham and Turkey - I would like to try!
Southwestern Style Chicken - I'd try even though I'm not big on Southwestern Chicken.
Sesame Chicken - The orange dressing kind of sounds iffy to me.

Veggie Cheese (Soy Cheese)

Disapointingly, the Super Stix only come in mozzerella, and I am not big on mozzerella. I like cheddar.

But it definately had the flavor of mozzerella, and the texture was pretty similair. If you like mozzerella you'll like these.

Each stick contains only 70 calories and 35% of my daliy calcium needs. They have NO carbs and 4.5g fat (all good fats.)

The "Veggie" brand has shreds, grated topping, slices, and blocks too.

I am interested in trying the slices later because they contain 40 calories per slice and 20% of my calcium needs! They come in lots of cheeses like: mozzerella, yellow american, pepper jack, provolone, swiss, cheddar, and cheddar with jalapenos.

NOTE: These are in the produce section. NOT cheese section.

100 Calorie Hostess Packs

These cakes are great for those of you who are watching your calories and portion sizes.

They are little bites of heaven, I like to think of them as. I picked some up at the store today. I was always tempted seeing the Chocolate mini-cupcakes. (If they came out with Strawberry they would have been in my belly a long time ago!)

But I saw the muffins today and I just had to get the Cinnamon Streusel kind! I was torn between the Blueberry and Cinnamon Streusel though! But eventually after a long 2 minutes of comparing, I picked Cinnamon Streusel.

They even have fiber! Five grams of it too!! I was freaking out on how they got 5g fiber in those cakes. I read the label but I didn't see anything fiber-ous. But they can't lie, can they?

Flavors
Cupcakes: Carrot, Yellow, Chocolate
Muffins: Blueberry, Cinnamon Streusel, Banana
I still think they need Strawberry! And Apple Cinnamon would be lovely too. Plus, I think they need to make it UNenriched wheat flour.

Minute Maid Fruit Falls

With only 5 itty-bitty calories these flavored water pouches make a delicious and nutritious thirst-quencher! They are really tasty, and normally I don't like water! Each one has 100% of your daily value of vitamin C.

They come in two flavors: Berry and Tropical. Berry is good, and I hope to try Tropical soon!

Kashi TLC: Cookies

I love these cookies they are heaven! I popped it in the microwave for 6 seconds and it came out steamy like home-made straight out of the oven!

They have 130 calories per cookie and they are high in Omega-3's. 3g fiber and 2g protein. 8g sugar.

They are the best cookie I have ever ate, and I have ate many other cookies.

They also have Trail Mix and Oatmeal Raisin Flax cookies, but Dark Chocolate Oatmeal sounds so much yummier!
It's so yummy and 100% natural, so now you don't have to have guilt after you eat a cookie!

Bird's Eye Steamfresh Vegetables

These are really good, all you have to do is pop the frozen bag in the microwave for about 6 minutes and you've got steamed vegetables!

They have all sorts of mixtures and stuff.

Selects and Mixtures
Broccoli Cuts - I love it!
Super Sweet Corn
Sweet Peas - Love this too!
Cut Green Beans - Mmmmm!
Mixed Vegetables
Sweet Mini Corn on the Cob
Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Corrots

Baby Brussel Sprouts - I love these things so much!

Special K Protein Plus

There is only 9g net carbs per 3/4 cup serving and 100 calories. There is 10g protein and 5g fiber.

The flakes are pretty bland and gritty. Eating Kashi is alot more satisfying plus it has more fiber and protein. But more net carbs.

I was a little dissapointed.

Dannon Light n' Fit

Calories - 60 per 6 oz. container

There's no added sugars, good source of calcium, protein, and fat-free (unless you get Carb-Control). It's sweetened with Splenda brand sweetener.
It has 40 fewer calories per 6 oz. serving than Light Yoplait yogurt, and the taste is way better.

I love Dannon Light n' Fit yogurt and Dannon Light n' Fit Carb Control Smoothies. My favorite flavors are definately strawberry, blueberry, strawberry banana, and mixed berries n' cream.

Light Flatout Bread

These wraps are only 90 calories and packed with protein and fiber! There are 9g protein and 9g fiber in that wrap. Net Carbs = 7g.

They are really good too, I like making wraps with these with some chicken breast, tomatoes, spicy mustard, pickles, and lettuce.

I try to get my family to eat them and they really like the flavor.

Advantedge Carb Control Shakes

These have only 110 calories and only 4g carbs, with 2g sugar. They are soooo delicious too. They have 17g of high-quality protein too!!

Another good thing is they aren't that pricy. About $1.25 per protein shake. That is as much as a 20 oz. soda out of a soda machine now-a-days.

Drinking the Chocolate Fudge kind is heavenly. It is like a really thick and delicious chocolate milk. I haven't tried the Strawberry or French Vanilla kind yet though, although I would like to try the Vanilla.

I don't know if I'd like strawberry though, I like strawberry milkshakes but not quite sure I'd like a strawberry protein shake.

I'd reccomend these if you are looking for a way to add some good protein in your diet.

Mott's Healthy Harvest Applesauce

Only 50 calories per 5 oz. container.
1g fiber.
0 fat and protein.
25% Vitamin C.
I have tried every flavor and I liked every one besides Granny Smith (since I don't like Granny Smith apples too much).
I love Country Berry, Summer Strawberry, and Peach Medley especially. My little sister is crazy about them. And she is a really picky eater!!
Flavors:
Country Berry * * * * *
Blueberry Delight * * * *
Peach Medley * * * * *
Summer Strawberry * * * * *
Granny Smith * * *

Stevia: The Healthy Sweetener

So we hear all these bad things about artificial sweeteners now-a-days. If you haven't, then click this link: http://www.ivanfraser.com/articles/health/aspartame.html
I believe anything artificial sweetener is bad for you.
But Stevia is a natural sweetener, 30 times sweeter than sugar, that is actually GOOD for you.
Sadly, the FDA won't allow companies to put Stevia in their products since the sugar industry would go out of business. People would freak out for a sweetener 30 times sweeter than sugar that is healthy. I'm not surprised the FDA says, "No way!"
But, you can buy Stevia in packets and extracts next to the sweeteners in the grocery stores.
It is really good too, I put it in my oatmeal every morning. :-)
Visit www.stevia.com for more information.

Glenny's 100 Calorie Brownie

I was way impressed reading this nutrition label.

So there is 100 calories for a pretty large and dense brownie.
75% organic.
7g fiber.
4g protein.

No, your not in heaven.

I got it at Walgreen's. I don't get them often since I don't go there much.

I've only tried the Peanut Butter kind, it claims it has peanut butter chips but it doesn't have many. But it is still great. Especially if you pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds its hot and steamy.

Flavors: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chip, Blondie with Chocolate Chips, Blondie with Blueberries, Cranberry Orange Blondie

I would really like to try the chocolate chip, chocolate chip blondie, and blueberry blondie.

Oscar Meyer 98% Fat-free Turkey Dogs

I loved these alot. My sister and I both agree that these turkey dogs are better than regular beef or pork franks.

They are really high in sodium, sadly. 20% daily value. :-(

But they only have 40 calories, 1g fat, 3g carbs, and I think about 5g protein per link.

40 calories for a yummy hot dog? You can't go wrong with that! A regular hot dog has like 4 times the calories of these!!

Airforce Nutrisoda

Whenever I first found these I was so excited to try them! I mean, soda without anything artificial? The HEALTHY soda? I wanted to try it!

So I got the Mango + Peach kind, and it tasted like a nasty can of flowers. I was really upset because I love diet soda (but it has aspartame) and this could be my new soda that was good for me!
I really wanted to like it but I didn't. :-(

Kashi Go Lean! Waffles

In two waffles there are 6g fiber and 8g protein!!

There are only 3g fat, and those are good fats.

I love the blueberry kind. It makes a perfect combination with some light whipped cream or light maple syrup. They aren't really gritty like you'd expect a waffle with 3g fiber packed into it.

They also have original. Who knew waffles could be so healthy!

Snickers Marathon Nutrition Bars

I really like these bars, they have 18 vitamins and minerals and twice the calcium of a glass of milk! They have 11g protein and 7g fiber!

Also they only have 150 calories!!

I especially love the Dark Chocolate Crunch. It is a chewy chocolatey bar with some caramel on the bottom dipped in chocolate! I also has peanuts in it! It is soooo delicious.

The Honey and Toasted Almonds was good too, it had alot of almonds in it and a honey taste, but it was dipped in chocolate and caramel too, and I didn't think chocolate was very good to dip it in.

Pure Protein Bars

These bars aren't too high in calories and have a lot of protein packed in there. There's less than 2g sugar in each bar and about 17g carbs.

In each bar there is approx 18-20g protein. 5g fat.

Flavors:

Chocolate Deluxe: 5/10: The first time I ate it I liked it, the second time I didn't. Wayyyy chocolatey.

Peanut Butter Deluxe: 10/10: Ooooh yum this bar has the perfect peanut buttery center with little pieces of peanuts. It is dipped in chocolate.

Peanut Marshmallow Eclipse: 10/10: So it's a layer of peanut butter (like in the Peanut Butter Deluxe bar) with a layer of marshmallow cream on top and if that doesn't sound very good yet, it is dipped in PEANUT BUTTER. This is heaven.

Smores: 8/10: Toooo chewy and not enough chocolate taste to be a smores.

Blueberry Crumb Cake: 2/10: I didn't like it, it was dipped in yogurt and was way too chewy and since the bar was in my pocket it crumbled up a little bit and looked like bird poop.

Strawberry Short Cake: -/10: Haven't tried it and I don't plan on it considering how much I hated Blueberry Crumb Cake.

Chewy Chocolate Chip: 7/10: Definately chewy, has chocolate chips in a cookie like center, and it was dipped in chocolate. I liked it!

Luna Bars

These bars are very popular, and there's no surprise why they are! They are all-natural and 70% organic and have 23 different vitamins and minerals. Not to mention they are DELICIOUS.

Calories: 180-190
Fat: around 5g
Carb: mid to late 20's
Fiber: 3g
Sugar: 12g
Protein: 9-10g
Calcium: 30% Daily Value (as much as a glass of milk!)

Flavors:

Lemon Zest: 3/10: I am not big on lemon flavor, but this is one of the most famous of the Luna bars, so if I were you I'd go for it. But I don't like it, I'd reccomend it since everyone else loves it.

Nutz over Chocolate: 10/10: This bar is pure heaven! The perfect combination of rich chocolate and peanut butter... Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

S'mores: 10/10: This bar is my top favorite, tying with Nutz over Chocolate. The chocolate, marshmallow, and graham flavors are all there and definately heavenly. Mmm, I want one right now.

Berry Almond: -/10: I haven't tried it yet, I'd like to though. I don't know how much I'd like it.

Toasted Nutz n' Cranberry: -/1-: I don't think I ever want to eat cranberries with nuts again! But if I saw it I would get it just because it's a Luna.
Cookies n' Cream Delight: -/10: I want to try this so bad because I just know I will love it!!

Peanut Butter Cookie: 7/10: This was really yummy, I liked the peanut buttery flavor with the the icing on the bottom.

Chocolate Peppermint Stick: 9/10: I love this one alot. I like the little crunchy peppermint pieces in the peppermint icing the chocolate bar is dipped in. (-:

Dulce de Leche: -/10: I'd imagine I'd like this alot too. I want to try it!!

Chocolate Pecan Pie: 8/10: Not a chocolate pecan pie, but I do like the chocolate mixed with the hint of cinnamon!

Chocolate Raspberry: 8/10: I liked this alot more than I expected. There's no real raspberries (thank goodness) and it is more like a rich rich chocolate with a hint of raspberry flavor. I liked it!

Caramel Nut Brownie: 7/10: It's definately not a brownie, sadly, but it is pretty tasty with a layer of caramel on top of a chocolate crisp. It has walnuts in it and chocolate chips on top.

Clif Mojo Bars

I really like these bars. They are so tasty and full of polyunsaturated fats (which are good for your heart.) And these bars are definately a good way to add some fat to your diet (which I need to do.)

70% Organic
180-about 200 calories
Around 8g fat
Around 21g carb
Around 2g fiber
Around 12g sugar
Around 10g protein
8% DV Calcium

Flavors: Moutain Mix, Peanut Butter Pretzel, Fruit Nut Crunch, Mixed Nuts, Honey Roasted Peanuts

I have only tried the Moutain Mix (which I fell in love with the nuts with raisins and chocolate chips) and the Peanut Butter Pretzel (which was pretty good and loaded with peanuts, peanut butter chips, and peanut butter pretzels).

I want to try the Honey Roasted Peanuts and Fruit Nut Crunch considering how much I used to like Honey Roasted Peanuts.

Kashi Go Lean! Crunchy Bars

Calories: 160-190
Fat: around 5g
Carbs: around 30g
Fiber: around 6g
Sugar: around 13g
Protein: around 9g
Calcium: around 20% daily value

Flavors: Cinnamon Coffee Cake, Chocolate Peanut, Chocolate Almond, Chocolate Caramel, Chocolate Pretzel

I really really love the Cinnamon Coffee Cake one. It has hazelnuts and definately cinnamon enrobed throughout a chewy (not crunchy like the label tells you) vanilla-y Kashi 7 whole grains mix.

The first time I ate Chocolate Peanut, I was a little dissapointed. Second time, I fell in love with it!
The Chocolate Almond one was kind of strange, I didn't know what to think of it!

The Chocolate Caramel flavor is very delicious! There is definately a caramel flavor and theres caramel corn in it!

Pria 110 Nutrition Bars

These bars are really good and full of vitamins and minerals. One 110 calorie bar has 30% of your daily value of calcium and many other vitamins and minerals.

They come in the following flavors: French Vanilla, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Mint Chocolate, Double Chocolate Cookie, Lemon, and Vanilla Chai. I haven't tried the Vanilla Chai and Lemon, they don't sound too appealing to me.
The other flavors are really delicious. I especially love, well, all of them equally!

They have about 5g protein and 1g fiber (darn!). They are a little high in sugar for their size, but they aren't too bad. About 10g sugar.

I really reccomend these for women or girls who are on the go and want a yummy snack!

Fiber One Bars

So my sister and I, being the fiber-dorks we are have been trading high-fiber bars and stuff. (-:

I've been wanting to try the Fiber One bars for a while but I haven't because I can't buy them seperately.

So my sister bought both flavors of the Fiber-One bars (Oats n' Peanut Butter and Oats n' Chocolate) and both were DELICIOUS.

They aren't super gritty like you'd expect 9g of fiber to be crammed into a little bar.

They are only 140-150 calories and not loaded with sugar either. They have some unsaturated fats too.

The Oats n' Peanut Butter one is really peanut buttery. I love it alot because of that!
The Oats n' Chocolate one is, well, chocolatey! Like a chewy gooey chocolate chip cookie. Delish!
I was dissapointed with the Oats n' Caramel flavor. I have been looking for it for a while and when I saw it I had to get it. But it ended up being a little too buttery for my taste. Darn, I thought I'd like it as much as I like the Chocolate and Peanut Butter kinds.
If you buy them you will fall in love, I promise!

Special K Protein Water

The label says it makes you fuller longer, which I didn't think it did to me.

I bought the Pink Lemonade mix, they also have Strawberry Kiwi and Iced Tea in the mixes. They have already bottled protein water too, the flavors are Lemon Twist, Mixed Berry, Strawberry Kiwi, and Tropical Blend.

Mine didn't taste very good and was kind of gritty, but it did have fiber and protein, but sugar too.

I wouldn't reccomend it.

Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal

Calories: 160
Fat: 3g
Carb: 29g
Fiber: 6g
Sugar: 1g
Protein: 7g

Flavors: Cinnamon, Maple Brown Sugar, Banana Bread

I really like the Cinnamon flavor, I wish they had Apple Cinnamon but I'll live! I'd bet I'd like the Maple Brown Sugar kind but I haven't got it yet.
I didn't like the Banana Bread as much I thought I would. It definately tasted like banana but I don't like banana in my oatmeal I guess.
It makes a bigger bowl than the Lower Sugar kind I noticed. It keeps me full for a really long time too. It has a really good flavor. I eat it every morning. (I eat my Kashi for bedtime snack with a Luna bar or some other nutrition bar).

Kashi Go Lean! Cereal

Calories: 140g
Fat: 1g
Carb: 30g
Fiber: 10g
Sugar: 6g
Protein: 13g

I love this cereal so much not only because the label is so respectable but because it is so delicious! It is crunchy and has a touch of honey flavor from the Honey Puffs. It isn't really gritty like bran cereal.

I love the little oat puffs and oddly shaped "fiber twigs." I think the little squares are the soy protein grahams. It is really fun to eat because all those cute little guys in there!!

All-Bran Cereal and Fiber Bars

Wasn't really gritty like you would expect and I love the cinnamony taste. I have always liked oatmeal raisin cookies and these are much healthier and just as yummy.

I know I'd love both flavors but I can't find them!

Special K Protein Snack Bars

They are sooo tiny and not at all filling. They are 110 calories, you could eat 4 cups of broccoli for that much and get twice the protein.

They are full of sugar (11g) and not very high in protein (4g).

They taste good though.

Flavors:
Chocolate Peanut Butter
Chocolate Delight

8th Continent vs. Silk Soymilk

Light 8th Continent: * * * * *

Plain - 50 calories
Vanilla - 60 calories
Chocolate - 90 calories

Thinner than Silk and less carbs too. I think the flavor is better too.

Light Silk: * * *

Plain - 70 calories
Vanilla - 80 calories
Chocolate - 120 calories

Thicker and more carbs. I didn't like the flavor as much as 8th Continent.

Luna Sunrise Bars

The label boasts it has Omega-3's (good fats), 10g protein, and 5g fiber.

I was a little dissapointed they were smaller than the Luna bars since they are the same in calories (180) and WERE fruity.

I love fruity. ♥

I really liked the Blueberry Yogurt especially. It reminded me of a Blueberry Waffle. It had a creamy layer, blueberry-flavored I think, and a groovy wave of white icing over top, with some oats. It had really good dried blueberries in it, it was loaded with them. A cold glass of vanilla soymilk washed it down nicely. (-:

The Strawberries n' Cream was pretty dissapointing, I was expecting less granola and more cream. The cream flavor was definately there, and this too had the groovy wave and creamy layer. I wasn't too crazy about these dried strawberries either.
